WhatsApp Messenger for Google Android might finally start charging for extension

WhatsApp Messenger for Google Android might finally start charging for extension!

WhatsApp has charged for their app on the Apple iOS platform since forever. Google Android users on the other hand have been able to use the app for free.

The service is supposed to become paid after a year of use. But the company continued to extend the free use license for everyone.

This is now expected to change. A new update of the app finally adds support for in-app purchasing.

This is a clear indication that the free access would soon be a thing of the past. The company seems to be ready to start charging for access extension.

It is still expected to be pretty cheap. A dollar for a year is what they charge on Apple iOS devices.
